Love this place. Great healthy options, swanky ambience, and excellent service. Get the raw nachos for an appetizer!
I had a long layover at PDX and actually made the trek here to have brunch… and it was worth it!!! the food is delicious! The staff helped me choose what to eat since it all looked so good… I ended up with the vegan “eggs benedict” type dish (although I can’t remember the name) and even grabbed a cinnamon roll to eat on my next flight (although, it was so large i ended up eating it until breakfast the next day!) Would love to go back the next time I’m in town 🙂
Our stop at Blossoming Lotus was the perfect first stop on what ended up being a huge day of eating through Portland (it was a food crawl, after all). We split the Lotus Benedict, and opted for half kale, half potatoes on the side to keep things on the lighter side. I really liked everything about this dish, truly. I wanted one of their large cinnamon rolls so badly, but was encouraged by my friend and voice of reason to save room for the other stops we’d be making throughout the day. Giant cinnamon roll, I’ll be back for you!
Everything is delicious! This is usually a busy spot but worth it. They even serve a Thanksgiving menu that is amazing. It’s closer on the spectrum to fine dining than cafe or coffeehouse. Located in an interesting area to wander around too!
