A while back a poisonous spider bit me, changing life as I knew it (insert Spiderman joke here). I suddenly became allergic to everything I loved. The major problem was that I still craved my favorite dessert, a cookie. I made it my mission to make a cookie that was vegan and allergy-friendly, but tasted the way a cookie should taste. All of the cookies are 100% vegan, gluten-free, wheat-free, dairy-free, lactose- free, casein-free, egg-free, and soy-free. They aren’t just normal old cookies; I offer a variety of different sweet and maybe savory flavors. I can assure you that all of the cookies are baked fresh daily with love and passion! You also have the choice to pair the cookies with fresh homemade organic almond milk. I only use high quality ingredients. You don’t have to worry about any genetically modified food. That also includes NO preservatives, artificial flavors, chemical additives, hydrogenated oils, food dyes, or any ingredients that don’t come from nature. I try to use organic ingredients whenever possible. I want to make a bite into the world with good ethics and an awareness of the environment. Not to mention my desserts are always packed with 100% compostable material. My passions for food, animals, and the environment expanded when I started baking vegan and allergy-friendly desserts, so hopefully I can share my passion with you through the experience of my cookies. We have created an extensive range of vegan cakes that are free from eggs, dairy, casein, gluten, wheat, nuts, fructose and soy. We use fair-trade and organic ingredients where possible. We bake with aloha spirit using organic, local, non-artificial ingredients. Using close to 40 different flours, none of which contain wheat, barley, rye, or ANY other gluten containing flours or ingredients. We are careful in our selection, ensuring our ingredients are made in facilities that are gluten-free and that have commitments to non-GMO products. We do not allow any products to be brought into our beakery that contain gluten. We also are vegan and paleo friendly. We happily take requests in both categories. Corn free? We can accommodate corn free requests that do not contain baking powder (often made with cornstarch) and our organic powdered sugar is made with potato starch. We do not take nut-free cake orders if request is due to allergy, as we use nuts and nut flours in our daily baking and cannot 100% guarantee cross contamination. We are also soy-free and high fructose corn syrup free! Do not fear artificial colors or flavors- we use neither, as all of our flavors and colors are naturally derived. We offer a wide range of delicious, freshly cooked, organic vegetarian food to the Brighton community. Our food is inspired by seasonal variety and infused with a diversity of cultural and culinary tradition, available to eat in or take away. The café is a light, airy and open plan with ample seating on two levels. In summer and on hot sunny days, tall, ‘French’ doors can be opened out into the street where there is extra outside seating. Extra space upstairs offers ideal people-watching opportunities out onto the street below as well as housing regular exhibitions from local artists and printmakers. There is wheelchair access to our ground floor which has a seating area but our toilets are only accessible by a flight of stairs. Please phone us if you have any queries. We have high-chairs for kids and baby changing facilities. We provide free internet access to our customers but cannot guarantee this during our busy periods (12-2pm). There are gluten-free options on our menu, but please bear in mind that our dishes are made in a kitchen that contains wheat. YEAH DAWG!!! is first ever vegan hot dog cart in NYC. NYC is known for its hot dog carts but vegan options are scarce. YEAH DAWG!!! will offer soy free vegan hot dogs and homemade veggie burgers made from vegetables, seeds, and gluten free flours, herbs and spices. The toppings will include local seasonal pickled items including red and green cabbage saurkrauts and slaws, cucumber, pineapple, beets, peppers, kimchi. Additional toppings will include shitake bacon bits, and crushed kettle cooked chips. The sauces include a chili peanut sauce, a cashew mayo, curry ketchup, and BBQ sauce, and a spicy mustard. We will offer different desserts each time and they will include raw cashew cream canolis, almond coconut date truffles, pecan chocolate chip cookies, peanut butter chocolate brownies. Everything made from scratch. Book us for your party/event/show/lunch!!!

The lovemuffin bakery creates delicious vegan and gluten-free baked goods. Our healthy muffins are made with ingredients such as unsweetened applesauce, unsweetened almond milk, agave nectar and very little sugar or oil. Our decadent cookies are made with the highest quality ingredients, such as unbleached organic wheat flour, maple syrup, and organic sugar. Our products are not enormous, like many of the baked goods available for purchase at coffee shop chains and grocery stores. To us, it’s important that our customers can go in for a second cookie without feeling guilty (and without surpassing their recommended sugar intake for the day!) We pride ourselves on the quality of our products. An item will only make it on our menu if it passes a blind taste test – where the tester doesn’t know it’s vegan or gluten-free. We don’t want people to have to settle for a less than perfect product because of food allergies or lifestyle choices.
