Chase Hospitality Group opened Planta to create delicious food that promotes environmental sustainability. CHG partnered with Chef David Lee to fill a void in the market of upscale, full service, plant-based dining options. The restaurant’s vision is to celebrate innovative cuisine in a beautiful environment without the use of any animal products. There’s more to responsible plant-based eating then just taking animals off the plate and our commitment to using high quality products from ethical suppliers provides the foundation for our chefs to be proud of the food they serve.

Bronda is new restaurant in heart of Helsinki by Tomi Björck and Matti Wikberg. The culinary philosophy of Bronda, as with all BW restaurants, is based on the best ingredients available and entirely handmade food. Bronda’s food is based on the flavors of the major European culinary countries around the Mediterranean Sea, particularly those of the owners’ favorite countries which are Spain, Italy and France. The menu includes several well-known and loved classics served in a modern and elegant manner. The kitchen mainly uses Finnish ingredients that are in season. The food is meant to be shared and all dishes and menus are served in shared bowls for everyone around the table to enjoy. The menu includes small snacks, aromatic and fresh appetizers, rich main courses, complementary sides and of course some delicious desserts. The tasting menu offers you an easy way to explore our flavors. If you are a party of two and you want to build your dining experience around the à la carte menu, we recommend that you order a few dishes from each category. The restaurant does not draw a line between appetizers and main courses, but instead all dishes are served when they are ready, like a family-style dinner. Please note that we only serve one tasting menu for an entire table, but we of course take allergies and special dietary needs into consideration. Two restaurants. Two menus. One mission. While each restaurant is independent from the other in menu and atmosphere, they share the common values of vegetarianism, health and community awareness. Roots is our answer to Louisville’s current lack of upscale vegetarian dining. While providing delicious meals to our customers we remain mindful of our impact on the environment, our community and the health of our patrons. We act with compassion for our fellow creatures and for our community by choosing vegetarian ingredients. The menu includes tapas-style portion sizes of creative, yet simple, upscale vegetarian cuisine. While Roots is more for traditional, sit-down dining, Heart & Soy provides fast and casual vegetarian food inspired by Asian street food. Customers can order traditional dishes such as Pad Thai, Korean Rice Bowl and steamed buns, all reminiscent of food vendors set in cities like Seoul, Saigon, Beijing and Tai Pei. All of our food can be ordered for dine-in or carry-out. Heart & Soy houses Kentucky’s only tofu manufacturing machine, specifically designed for our needs here in Louisville. This incredible machine is set up in a glass enclosed room where customers can view the tofu and soymilk being produced right before their eyes. All of our tofu and soymilk products are available for sale along with a wide array of vegan desserts and beverages in our retail case. Dine-in or take-away because “we are what we eat!”

Award winning Acorn vegetarian restaurant is co-owned by Richard, who is also the head chef. This sophisticated, cozy and modern restaurant is located in a quaint, cobbled street near the thermal baths in Bath. It has very pleasant and approachable staff, who are more than happy to advise you on some of their favourites! The decor is modern, yet has a lot of beautiful details such as copper detailing in the accessories, moss flower features on tables and it is a place where you can dress up and go on a date to. There are plenty of vegan options, so as vegetarian. They do not serve meat or fish. The food is very innovative, full of flavour and they stayed away from falafel sandwiches and mushroom risottos. The menu is always evolving and changing, but I think it also all depends on your taste buds. I would recommend you go for the preserved strawberries with a Prosecco sorbet on a bed of crushed hazelnuts for dessert, as it really cleans your pallet after a hearty vegan meal. It is not the cheapest, but for me, the service, atmosphere and the food worth every penny! I really enjoyed it.

Modern Japanese cuisine for your culinary wanderlust. A bit of Tokyo in the city center of Bremen. Regional, seasonal, simply delicious!

The Gate has 3 branches in London now, all with a great atmosphere. Plenty of vegan options in a modern, and relaxed setting. The Angel branch is bigger and has a cute fire place, perfect for dates and special celebrations, or just a nice lunch spot. The decor is made out of lots of organic materials such as wood, plenty of flowers and plants can be seen throughout the restaurants, and the service is very pleasant. The menu is ever-evolving but some of my all-time favourites are the miso glazed aubergine (so rich in flavour and totally delicious), Couliflower as a side which comes with tahini dressing and some pomegranate seeds and you must try the Tortillas as a main, you can make them vegan without the goats cheese! Tortilla’s come with two fillings of sweet potato, sweetcorn, chilli, lime and coriander; and the other one was of baked beetroot, parsley, served with guacamole and black bean pepper salsa – oh wow, they were something else, but the sweet potato one was terrific. Overall I enjoyed my experience and would be back to try more dishes, as the menu is always changing. Great place to go for carnivores who are opened to trying vegetarian and vegan cuisines.

Our establishment prides itself on preparing food from purely vegetable ingredients (without any meat, eggs or dairy products). These ingredients don’t contain the smallest trace of animal protein or alcohol and thus we not only cater to vegetarians, but vegans as well. We strive to make our dishes as healthy as possible. The majority of our ingredients were grown organically. Our daily offers always include some form of grain or cereal. We avoid using any preservatives, additives or coloring agents. Instead of using traditional wheat flour, white sugar, cocoa and bean coffee, we prefer spelt flour, cane sugar, carob and grain coffee. All of our dishes are made with purified water. Apart from some lesser known flavors, our A’la carte menu includes a number of traditional Hungarian and international dishes as well, for example Gulyás Soup, Stuffed Cabbage, Brassói nuggets, Falafel and Pizza. Our self-serve salad bar always offers a selection of fresh, mixed, spicy and mayonnaise salads. Apart from our home-made deserts, we also offer a selection of vegan pastries made with cane sugar, xylitol and agave syrup from the Napfényes Confectioners. We also offer a host of beverages, including ginger and rose water lemonade, freshly squeezed fruit juices, herbal, spicy and fruit teas, pure 100% and organic fruit juices, grain coffee and cappuccino, as well as non-carbonated and purified water. Our organic food store section offers basic organic foodstuffs, mainly the products of the BiOrganik Online and Piszkei Öko companies, as well as the publications of the Napfényes Élet Foundation. Our establishment is regularly frequented by vegetarians and vegans and people devoted to living a healthy life, apart from people living with diabetes, lactose intolerance and food allergies. Our quality vegan cuisine, the broad range of dishes on offer, the pleasant atmosphere, friendly service and our mid-level price range has made us popular not just amongst our domestic customers, but our foreign visitors as well. We hope to see you soon!
