1 Review on “A.N.D Cafe”
A.N.D Cafe is a sweet little spot with minimal seating, so expect a wait if you come for breakfast, even on a weekday. Everything on their menu is prepared vegan (waffle mixes, biscuits, hollandaise sauce, etc) unless it specifically states cheese or eggs, but don’t be shy to double check about anything if you aren’t sure. We opted to split one sweet and one savory dish during our recent and first visit. For the sweet dish, we went with the pumpkin cheesecake waffle– wonderful! I was torn because they had a special waffle with peaches the day we went, but once I tasted the pumpkin cheesecake waffle, all of my reservations melted away. We also shared the veggies in a mess over biscuits with herbed tofu, and opted to add hollandaise for an extra fee (because, hello, vegan hollandaise!). I liked the veggies in a mess, the biscuit was especially tasty. The person I was with and I agreed that the herbed tofu tasted like chik’n noodle soup.
Based on how full it was in there and how busy the staff seemed (side note, the staff was so lovely and took excellent care of everyone despite how busy they all were), this place is clearly a local favorite, and worth checking out if you find yourself nearby.
