• Hey guys, just found this website today. Looks awesome. I’m heading to Sri Lanka in November, Mainly the southern region of the country for now… Anyone out there in November?

    Hope you’re all doing great.

  • I’ve been house- and cat-sitting in the Park Slope are of Brooklyn recently and am enjoying diving into some new (and “old”) foodie fixes. Yay! (1) breakfast sandwich from Orchard Grocer, (2) ice cream from Clementine Bakery, (3) breakfast scramble from Sun in Bloom, (4) tempeh reuben from Clementine Bakery, and (5) vegan burger from Brooklyn…[Read more]

It was so tasty. That was the AKA “Benny Eggs” from Virtuous Pie (Sunday brunch menu). Their food was so awesome, that we “had to” go back another day for dinner as well! 🙂

I spent a mere week and a half in Thailand before coming back to Bali! I’m here again for another month and a bit, depending on how the visa process goes for me tomorrow! I’m living in southern Denpasar, which is really nice if you’re wanting a bit of a local vibe.

Thailand was amazing for me, vegan-wise. I pretty much only ate vegan trash food…[Read more]

torn between places to stay in Bogota… either an okay place closer to downtown and looks like lots of restaurant/food options close by… or an eco/sustainable hotel a little further away and double the price, but looks fabulous…. leaning towards the eco hotel, but don\’t want to spend all day going back and forth across the city…

      This is the eco hotel

    • this is the other hotel

      INICIO

    • How long are you in Bogota for? Is it reasonable to split your time so you get some of the benefits/experiences of both? I know it’s nice to just settle in wherever you’re staying for the duration of a trip, but maybe even one night at the eco hotel would be a nice treat for yourself 🙂

      • I was thinking of doing that… I’m only there for 3 nights, and arrive super late the first night… maybe I do all the “touristy” stuff the first day and a half and then enjoy the eco hotel on the last night? so many choices!

Made it to Atlantic City, New Jersey a few weekends ago, which made for a very interesting first East Coast beach experience!

Throwing it back to chasing waterfalls in Iceland two years ago! This is Faxi (you can find it if you do the Golden Circle). And I’ve even rocking my vegan shirt!

    • Aw! I went there last December, it was much colder though. I’m always looking forward to going back to Iceland 🙂

  • This is my absolute favourite kitchen tool (so much so that I have it tattooed), the 10,000 year old mortar and pestle ❤️

Do you have a favourite kitchen tool/appliance?

Last weekend my partner and I traveled to Santa Fe for a relaxing long weekend. We had great meals at Thai Vegan and Annapurna’s World Vegetarian Cafe, had a wild experience in the immersive installations at Meow Wolf, and hiked through the national forest with our friends. We’ll definitely be…[Read more]

I’m still dreaming of my trip to Hawaii which was the most beautiful place I’ve ever seen until now!

  • Went to food truck rally near my hometown, which featured 75 vendors from all over Michigan. I wasn’t thrilled at the idea at first, but once I found out it had vegan food, I had the most fun. From The The Nosh Pit Detroit, I got a grilled cheese sandwich with red peppers, aioli and pesto. I also scarfed down an amazing coconut macaroon! I am…[Read more]
