1 Review on “Taco Mazama - Glasgow Central Station”
I love burritos. This vegan friendly Mexican style kitchen doesn’t fail to deliver.
This is absolutely my go to place for almost any time of the day, and one of my favourite places to eat in Glasgow. I once went three times in one day to cover breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I don’t know why it is that I find so much comfort in a good burrito, but that’s certainly a thing for me, and if it’s a thing for you too, then you are in for a treat here! There are three standard vegan options, including a veggie chilli of the week. There are multiple choices for salsa, from mild to extra hot. They sometimes offer vegan specials. One time they held a vegan Burns’ Night, complete with haggis burritos and vegan cheese!
All vegetarian items on the menu are also vegan, with the exception of cheese and sour cream, however if you are vegan you have the option of free guacamole in place of the dairy cheese. Vegan items are marked very well, and the staff are extremely vegan conscious (a number of them are vegan themselves).
If you’re feeling adventurous they offer a burrito challenge. You are presented with a burrito the size of my forearm, and given ten minutes to best it. You can do it!
Burritos for breakfast; burritos for lunch; burritos for dinner; burritos for life!
