  We had the vegan brunch buffet at playing with eels one weekend, and it was really delightful! The food isn’t what I’d typically go for as a first meal of the day (a lot of savories, and things I’d consider more lunch or dinner options), but apparently I need to let go of those old breakfast desires, because this was a great way to start the day. The selections were varied, with cold salads and dips, warm components like fried polenta mini cakes and roasted squash, and then a whole mess of delicious vegan desserts. Unexpected, and very enjoyable.
