2 Reviews on “Good Rebel”
I recently discovered Good Rebel on social media after hearing about its opening not too long ago. Everything in this store is vegan and they carry a handful of local products in addition to vegan products from around the world. I was actually surprised to see so many items that are carried in the US, but it’s exciting to see that they’re available in Canada as well.
The owners of this store are super friendly and they even helped recommend a few spots around town that we didn’t know about. I didn’t buy much here because I was already pretty full and had limited suitcase room, but I’d love to stop here again to check out some of the goods they carry. Overall I love what Good Rebel is doing and I think every city needs a specialty vegan store like this one!
You know you’re in a vegan-friendly town when they have a vegan grocery and specialty store. I absolutely loved the vibe and style of Good Rebel. They have a great selection of good, personal hygiene, household and other goods, and the store is open and comfortable to walk around in. It was really cool to see products from outside of North America on the shelves, and the owners are some of the kindest people to strike up a conversation with (and are super forgiving when you knock over a container of Sjaak’s candies while shaking their hands). Since we were just passing through, I didn’t get to take anything home with me, but I’d love to visit Good Rebel again when I’m in Toronto, and suggest you do the same!
