The Gardeners Arms is a traditional style British pub set in the arty Jericho area of Oxford which reflects the friendly and slightly quirky character of this part of town.
Widely known for our great vegetarian food and relaxed atmosphere , having become free of tie at last in 2012 we have now expanded our range of well kept traditional British ales and have the pleasure of being able to bring you the finest brews that local independent breweries have to offer.
We also have a great selection of vegan friendly wines which we have delivered by the best local supplier who travels far and wide to seek out the finest wines to import and gives us regular expert recommendations on which varieties to stock.
Our range of bottled ciders, soft drinks and beers are carefully chosen to give variety and great taste to those looking for something different from the traditional real ale and our premium lagers also reflect our ethos that the products we supply are of the best quality.
The original wood decor of the front room of the pub give the pub it’s nice traditional feel, complemented by the landlord’s vinyl collection which decorates the top shelf around the room and the well stocked bookshelves and DVD exchange where customers are invited to borrow and swap DVDs library style.
The Gardeners Arms also boasts the only grass lawn beer garden in town great for relaxing and eating in on balmy summer evenings or long lazy weekend afternoons.
We play hosts to regular poetry nights and music events as well as our famous weekly quiz all of which help us maintain our position as a hub of the community as well as a great destination pub for travellers from further afield.
The Organic Deli Café has loyally contributed to the Oxfordshire health food scene for five years. Comprised of a multi-floored restaurant and market in Friars Entry and a local organic convenience store on the Botley Road, the Organic Deli Café provides an excellent experience with the finest quality ingredients. The Deli stands ready to accommodate particular dietary needs; gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan diners will find it easy to discover food that’s right for them.
