2 Reviews on “My Thai Vegan Cafe - Boston Chinatown”
This was the first dining experience I had in Boston, and it. was. amazing. The menu is overwhelmingly big and full of so many different options and flavor palates that everyone is bound to find something they love here. Some of the portions are HUGE, just as a heads up. Specifically, the slices of cake. I recommend the Carrot Cake.
During our last day in Boston, we broke our travel rule of not going the same place twice. There was a whole thing with unsuccessfully looking for a taco truck supposedly in the area. Anyway, this made My Thai Vegan Cafe the first and last place we ate in Boston, and I’m quite happy with these bookends. Before you even get to eating you are overwhelmed by the menu. There are pages upon pages of exciting sounding vegan options. A huge portion of time in our first visit was devoted to going through the menu over and over again until we decided. And then the food… The food here is amazing! The portions are huge! If you are a big eater, my recommendation is the bird’s nest.
The second time we went it was during lunch hours, so we went for the lunch special, which included a main dish from a smaller selection as in the menu, the soup of the day, your choice of spring rolls or dumplings, and jasmine tea. All of this only cost us around $8 per person. That’s amazing!
I feel we can’t close this review up without talking about the cake. The slices of cake in this place are huuge! I would say only get this if you have a large capacity for sweets, or if you are sharing. In terms of taste, it is totally worth it.
