I had heard about a vegan-friendly gelato place a little off the Las Vegas Strip before, and I was so excited when I found it! Amorino has an entire case of vegan options, with flavors like dark chocolate (one of my favorites), raspberry, passionfruit and even pistachio! Unfortunately I don’t think the cones are vegan, but this gelato was just fine eaten in a cup with a spoon.
The staff was very friendly here and let us know that you can actually get a small size (which is plenty for me) but you can have as many flavors as you want in that small cup. I went back here twice, first getting dark chocolate and raspberry and then getting dark chocolate with pistachio.
If I find myself on the Vegas strip anytime soon, I would absolutely stop here again for some tasty vegan gelato!
Vegan Gelato! And not only your typical fruit flavors that are often vegan by default because they are traditionally made with water (aka sorbetto), but rich, creamy, non-dairy gelato with delicious and less commonly vegan flavors like pistachio!
We were tipped off that there was vegan gelato on the Las Vegas Strip, near the Venetian hotel, but still stumbled upon Amorino kind of accidentally (it’s down a walking path that leads to several restaurants and bars along the way to the High Roller). They had an entire case of non-dairy flavors that were clearly labeled either in the case itself or on the menu behind the counter, and the staff was super helpful in confirming which varieties were vegan. I’d say there were at least 10 vegan flavors to choose from.
It was such an enjoyable experience, we went here twice during our short stay in Vegas. On our first visit I had pistachio and passion fruit (weird combo, but I wanted to have them both), and the second time the pistachio was calling to me again, but I paired it with chocolate. The prices are good, and no matter what size cup you get, you can have as many flavors in the cup you’d like for one flat price. I would absolutely make it a point to go back to Amorino, and recommend you check it out.
