1 Review on “High Point Creamery”
I’ve been to this place a couple of times after getting a gift card to try out some of their vegan options. First of all, it’s super cool that they offer vegan milkshakes here and a few veg-friendly flavors (including sorbets and coconut-based items). However, it seems that their vegan flavors don’t rotate nearly as often enough as the non-vegan ones. Also, if you don’t like coconut then you probably will not like their vegan varieties since that is the base. It’s around $3 for a single scoop in a cup, which does seem a little pricey for the amount you get. I asked about the cones but the staff currently working didn’t seem to know if they were vegan or not (which is a huge bummer).
I was really excited to try the milkshakes, but they were made with the coconut-based ice cream and rice milk…which is the least creamy plant milk out there! They were just ok, but more liquid-y than I was expecting and definitely not worth $6. Watercourse is the only place in Denver I have found to have so far to have thick, creamy vegan milkshakes. If you find any others, please let me know!
