I visited a couple of years ago and really enjoyed dining at Seed: https://www.vegantravel.com/seed/
I was there for a race so I didn’t dine out much during that trip, but I do remember there being such wide selection of tasty vegan prepared meals at the Whole Foods, that had me happily going back for more .Users who liked this:

I haven’t been to New Orleans myself, but have also heard about Seed, and have seen some mouth-watering pictures of their vegan beignets! I hope you’ll let us know if you make it there 🙂

@anasylvia Just a tip when travelling Central America. They tend to put animal/pig fat into a lot of dishes so make sure to ask “sin grassa de cerdo/porko”

Awesome, I’ll send you a message with some ideas! It seems like new vegan spots have opened since I left the city, too (yay!). Chicago summers can get pretty hot and humid, I was surprised when I first got there (I came from FL, where hot and humid is the norm year round).
