I’m one of those -many- Italians who panic at the prospective of eating Italian food abroad…but in love with foreign cuisine and always eager to try alternative flavors. This passion started with my experience in India and I got lost in it while exploring China – a country I admire, with its controversies and my struggles in trying to deal with value clashes. Now China is is my main focus, including the wonders of the cultural and social role of food within its borders. It is a place where no single word exists to say “vegan” but where being a vegan is easier than expected.
Of course, I appreciate and have collected quite a few adventures in other parts of the world. As for when I’m home, I’m a wildlife rescuer and this is the coolest thing I could say about my Italian life.
