After a brief stop in Copenhagen, Justin and I have made it to Munich! We checked into our hotel around dinnertime, and immediately left to explore (and eat). There were some places on the vegan radar we made sure to taste (Royal-Kebabhaus and IceDate), but I was even more thrilled with the options we just stumbled upon while walking around and exploring. I ordered this pizza from an omni place called The Italian Shot that we almost passed by entirely because we assumed it wouldn’t be accommodating. Wrong! This is the Tina Tuna vegan pie with veganertuna, olives, capers, radicchio, onion, and sea beans– amazing. Then, after eating a cone of nougat and pumpkin seed ice cream from IceDate, we found ourselves in the ice cream/gelato Bermuda Triangle of Munich, and I had to try some of the vegan sorbet flavors from Gecobli. We’ve got just over 48 hours left in Munich at this point — what else do we need to make sure we see/do/eat?? 🙂
