This rainy day has got me DREAMING of patio season. Especially the waterfront patio at Dragonboat Festival in Ottawa. @vegannomad in PDX

Last summer my friends and I went to Ottawa for my birthday. We stayed in a cute little house, in a cute little neighbourhood, and went to a cute little music festival! Somehow, I basically only managed to get pictures of us drinking, but I can’t complain! I’m dying to get back to Ottawa soon, as it’s not far and I’ve been drooling over Little Jo…[Read more]

    • I love, love, love Salem! Flying Saucer is great. There’s also a Life Alive there (one of the best vegan eateries in the US if you ask me). Those desserts look like they are from Jodi Bee Bakes! 🙂

      • Yes!! Thank you! I knew it was something with a ‘bee’ in it! haha. We didn’t have a chance to check out Life Alive, but it was on my list! I’ll have to save it for this year. We try to go every year 🙂

I never did forget to appreciate amazing vegan food when I found it (Like this curry lentil dish I found at SMAK in Vancouver).. I carried around a loaf of…[Read more]
