Breakfast at Marie Catrib’s in Grand Rapids, MI. Tofu scramble, season potatoes, kale, veggies and toast complete with Marie Catrib’s special peanut butter and jam on one side. And peanut butter and banana stuffed (vegan) French toast on the other! This fine establishment recently mentioned as one of the top vegan / vegetarian restaurants in the world by Matador Travel Network! Highly recommend!! 🙂

    • Everything looks so good!

      • Oh man….to diiiie for!! 🙂 There are so many great places for vegans now in Grand Rapids, Kristin! You should totally add GR to your list hehehe…..here is that link that mentions all the great establishments in GR! 🙂 http://matadornetwork.com/pulse/13-worlds-best-cities-vegetarians/

        • Yes!! I’ve been to GR before; though it was about 3+ years ago. I’m sure it’s even more vegan friendly now. 🙂

          • Yes! GR has really come a long way! The Brick Road in Eastown vegan pizza, vegan club and the ‘Brick Road Burger’ are the bomb! Stella’s has the best chik’n burger, tofu meatloaf, chik’n wings (which are really huge potato wedges smothered in this this amazing sauce!)…..and Bartertown has amazing breakfast also! Not mentioned in the article….but The Mitten Brewery has amazing craft beers and vegan pizza!! So just to name a few…..:)

            • I’ve only been to Grand Rapids once for a day trip to their zine fest a few years, and I managed to get to both Bartertown and Brick Road in that magical, magical day. The Bartertown breakfast sampler was so so good, I still think about it whenever I order a breakfast plate somewhere, and hope it will stand up by comparison.

            • Waaaay awesome, Jaclyn….and too funny! Yes. Bartertown sure does have some amazing food…as does Brick Road! So great you got to experience both while you were here!
