Hi, I am Anne, a vegan travelling by bicycle in North America. After biking an off-road route, the Baja Divide, in Mexico with a friend I flew to Portland, OR from where I cycled to Kamloops, BC where I am now. Along the way I volunteered at OWL, a bird of prey sanctuary, helped at an Earthship work party and rock-climbed at Smith Rocks, on Vancouver Island and in Squamish, BC. I am headed to Banff area, from where I will most likely go to New Mexico through the West US. If you are near or on my route and interested to meet, especially do something outdoors together, rock-climb, bike, maybe kayak give me a shout, I’d love to meet fellow local vegans or vegan travellers.
Hey, thanks for the nice words! Yes that’s a funny picture. I hope to volunteer at other sanctuaries later on my journey too.
