Vegan Treats goes the cruelty-free route and satisfies both the palate and the conscience, inextricably linking the business of dessert with the ethics of caring about animals. After all, how many other bakers actively support animal advocacy groups like Farm Sanctuary, The American Anti-Vivisection Society and the Humane Society of the United States? And how many other bakers carefully choose their ingredients with taste and the well being of the earth and animals in mind?
Compassion has never tasted so delicious.

1 Review on “Vegan Treats”
Don’t get me started on Vegan Treats. This place is pretty well-known in the vegan community for their beautiful cakes, sticky buns, chocolate boxes and vegan versions of classic things like butterfinger bars. My first Vegan Treats experience happened at Grindcore House, since they carry different cakes, cannoli and other baked goods from them. However, it was worth the hour and a half drive from Philadelphia to check out their store front!
The actual shop for Vegan Treats is pretty small, and it seemed like most people picked up things to go. We were only there for a short time, but a lot of people came in to pick up treats. We took their confetti cake and chocolate cookie dough cake to go, and tried some of their amazing soft serve (the current flavors were peanut butter and brownie batter) while there. It’s probably a good thing that this place is somewhat far from Philly because I would want to go here constantly!
The only downside of Vegan Treats would be that the prices are a little steep, although the quality is definitely worth it for the money. Their cakes are adorable and they make a lot of seasonal things, so their offerings are constantly changing. I can’t wait to come back to Bethlehem to get my Vegan Treats fix again!
