Sunhee’s Farm and Kitchen is a family-owned Korean-style quick service restaurant and marketplace that serves Troy and the larger Capital Region. They offer clearly labeled vegan options and understand how to veganize some of their non-vegan dishes, like the bibimbop bowl.

This is a new Korean restaurant in Troy, NY and we’re lucky to have it as Troy hasn’t (historically) been the most vegan-friendly city in upstate NY. While it’s mostly a traditional omni restaurant, they do have clearly labeled veg and vegan items, and seem to really know their stuff! My favorite thing is the sprouted soybean appetizer. And the bibimbop bowl is the only main that can be easily veganized (just get it without egg + tofu). They could use a bit of help with the flavoring of this dish (it’s a bit bland) but otherwise, this restaurant is great. Gorgeous interior, nice mood lighting, friendly staff. I recommend it!
