3 Reviews on “Peacefood Cafe”
I’ve heard great things about Peacefood Cafe, so I couldn’t wait to experience this place for myself! Their menu includes raw meals, burgers, pizzas, salads, sides and more. One of their best-sellers is the chickpea fries which come with a house dipping sauce. I was pleasantly surprised by their raw lasagna, which was one of the best vegan lasagnas I’ve tried and it was even omnivore-approved! This place does seem to fill up fast on evenings, but the service seemed great when we went on a weekday night. We even got dessert to go, which was a good decision if I do say so myself.
I love caesar salad. I like to try it at any and all vegan restaurants that offer it. I tried it the other day at Peace Food Cafe and was not disappointed at all. This was one of the best caesar salads I have ever had- vegan or not. It had these delicious little bits of tempeh in it which really pushed it over the edge of “yum!” and into “diviiiiine.” I definitely recommend going here if you’ve saved up your pocket money.
First off: The staff that we met in this venue was superb. One member explained to a group of about 8 elderly people all the different vegan substitutes and dishes over and over again, listening, making suggestions all while joking and still being super friendly for about half an hour! That amazed me. That being said, the location itself is very nice and cosy. Definitely a place to hang out for longer. The peacefood cafe offers a wide variety of fully vegan dishes and everything we had was very tasty. Only minus point: a bit too expensive.
