The Sanctum in Orlando was created by health advocates with particular foodie tastebuds committed to redefining the way people think about healthy food. All of their ingredients are non-GMO and 85-90% is organic. The restaurant is free of high-fructose corn syrup, hydrogenated oils, refined flours, refined sugars, artificial food coloring, preservatives & filler “foods” that aren’t really food. All menu items are vegan & gluten free unless noted, they locally source what they can, and every single thing is prepared from scratch, with love. And don’t forget about the coffee!

1 Review on “The Sanctum”
The Sanctum is a new, cozy little spot in Orlando that is focusing on healthful, plant-based eats. Their all vegetarian menu is about 80% vegan, and the menu includes breakfast options, smoothies, grain and pasta bowls, salads, and a wide variety of coffee and tea drinks.
Several of the menu items looked really tasty when I stopped in for lunch with an old friend, but the special of the day was a quiche made with locally sourced vegetables, and they were offering a vegan option, so I went for it! The portion size was smaller than I would have liked, but the plating was really lovely, and the flavor was nice and subtle (when I’m dining out, I try to order things that I think I’d be less likely to make myself. I’ve made a few vegan quiches, but this one topped my previous home attempts by far).
We also ordered one slice each of their sweet and savory breakfast toasts because they just sounded delicious. The savory option was a standard avocado toast with sliced tomatoes and watermelon radishes on top, sprinkled with black sesame seeds. The sweet toast had chocolate-hazelnut butter, sliced bananas, shaved coconut, candied walnuts, hemp seeds, and a drizzle of maple syrup. Both of the toasts were really tasty, and I’m happy we ordered a little extra food to supplement the quiche we each chose.
I also got to try an iced matcha maca latte with almond milk. It wasn’t overly sweet, but the matcha wasn’t mixed in super well, and I kept getting big clumps of it when I took a sip through my straw. With a little extra mixing on my part, it was a nice drink.
Overall, I would recommend The Sanctum to anyone in the Orlando area looking for a light, clean, and tasty meal!
