1 Review on “Hops & Pie”
Hops & Pie is a place I’ve heard about for a while now, and I finally got to check it out for myself. I was impressed with their vegan mac & cheese, and the vegan sloppy Jane were both pretty good.
Unfortunately the waiter brought out a potato salad with parmesan cheese on the top, but as soon as they brought it to our table they realized it wasn’t vegan and brought a side of pickles instead. They don’t have a ton of vegan sides available, and only a couple items are actually vegan by default…though they are at least labeled on the menu.
I thought the pizza with Daiya cheese was just ok, the sauce could’ve used more spices in my opinion and they seemed a little stingy on the vegan sausage toppings. If I went back here, I would try a pizza with a different sauce and more vegetables without the vegan cheese.
