1 Review on “Mustards Last Stand - Denver”
I had heard some people recommend Mustards Last Stand before, but didn’t ever venture out there until recently. They have a location in Boulder, where apparently the veggie options outsell the meat options. We ordered the traditional veggie dog and an Italian sausage that came with caramelized onions, peppers and marinara sauce. They don’t make the veggie sausages in house, but I still felt that the overall quality was pretty great. There really aren’t any other places around Denver (that I know of) to find authentic-tasting vegan hot dogs, so this really is a unique find.
My only complaints would be that since this is a hole-in-the-wall kind of place, the ambience is a little sad and it took a while for our food to come out (and they weren’t that busy with customers). Next time I would probably just sit at their tables outside when the weather is better. I’m not sure if it’s any different at the Boulder location, but maybe I’ll find out someday!
