1 Review on “Marquis Pizza”
I’ve been to the Marquis Theatre a few times so I knew about the pizza shop next door, but I never got to try any of their food until recently! They offer a pizza called The Tofugazi, which is vegan by default and definitely one of the best pizzas I’ve had in Denver. It’s made with Silken White Tofu Sauce, Spinach, Daiya Mozzarella, Buffalo Seitan, and Green Peppers. All their dough and sauce is vegan, so pretty much anything on the menu can be made to accommodate you. Their Jane Dough (garlic knots) are amazing, just be sure to specify that you want them made dairy-free. They even offer a dessert pizza, which I can’t wait to try one day!
Marquis Pizza doesn’t have the best ambience if you aren’t there for a show (they do offer vegan slices at some punk shows from time to time). There’s a table or two to sit at outside, which isn’t very pleasant during the winter. I would recommend placing an order to go or taking advantage of their delivery service. Their slices are huge, especially if you get a 20 inch pizza like we did. The slices are just as good, if not better the next day!
