Following the launch of the Beyond Burger, the Beyond Meat Burger Bar opened in at the Pearl Street Whole Foods Market in Boulder, CO. This permanent station in the Prepared Foods section of WFM is serving a variety of vegan classics including burgers, chick’n and “fillet ah fishless” sandwiches, millet tots, fries, hushpuppies, and vanilla shakes with ingredients from brands like Gardein, Hampton Creek, Field Roast, and more. The grills and fryers at the Beyond Burger Bar are 100% dedicated to vegan food preparation.

1 Review on “The Beyond Meat Burger Bar”
This stand will totally change my “I’ll just stop by Whole Foods for a quick lunch” game. I’ve been twice, and both sandwiches I’ve had so far were done extremely well. The first time I visited, I had the Fillet ah Fishless (pictured), and the second time I ordered the single Beyond Burger. Because I can make a pretty classic burger at home now with the release of the Beyond Burger patty on the shelves in the same store (side note, I noticed the last time I was at the Pearl St location that they had Beyond Burgers placed in the plant-based meat section, so we may no longer need to begrudgingly traipse over to the animal meat section to get our vegan burgers!), I’m more partial to the Fillet ah Fishless. It was simple in preparation, but it hit the spot, and the tartar sauce made with Just Mayo was especially delicious! I don’t know if the Chao cheese adds much to the flavor, I’ll likely omit it next time I order this sandwich. I haven’t tried any of the sides yet, but I hope to eventually sample every item on the menu at some point.
Overall, the stand is absolutely worth checking out if you’re in the mood for some classic Johnny Rockets style dining, all prepared with 100% vegan ingredients in a 100% vegan kitchen! If you enter on the prepared foods side of the store, you’ll see it across from the coffee bar. It’s a little pricey for a grab & go stop, but I also think the prices are average for a vegan burger or other similar meal in general (just don’t compare it to average fast food prices, you’ll be disappointed). They have a small amount of seating attached to the stand, as well as plenty of indoor and outdoor seating that serves the entire store. Check it out!
