We vegans love exploring new vegan restaurants, especially when we are traveling. And these days, no matter where we travel there are amazing vegan dining options to choose from. This page shows some of the best vegan and vegan-friendly dining options contributed by members of our VeganTravel community. These eateries range from vegan fine dining restaurants to fast food takeout and smoothie bars. The vegan dining listings shown on this page were contributed, rated, and reviewed by your fellow vegans. We accept no advertising. Our goal is to provide a platform that truly respects and mirrors our collective vegan opinions and perspectives. As our global vegan community adds additional dining listings, and as we review and rate our favorites, the resulting listings will continually, and more accurately, reflect our global vegan dining preferences. Please consider reviewing and rating the eateries on this page so our vegan community can learn from your dining experiences. And if you know of any vegan eateries we missed, please consider adding them to our site.

Rootcandi showcases what you can do with plant-based food, all served tapas style. Opened in August of 2015, Rootcandi was born out of dissatisfaction with the quality of plant-based and vegan options in other restaurants, and the desire to provide something new, fresh and exciting. After a successful limited opening, the team at Rootcandi decided to open up full-time service in January of 2016.
Purezza (purity) was formed by Stefania Evangelisti and Tim Barclay in 2015, setting out to provide a range of exciting Italian plant-based, vegan options to the UK.
Those who are lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, plus vegetarians and vegans alike, can find it challenging to eat out, or get a takeaway, as there is a high chance of cross-contamination. Pizzerias and restaurants will tend to prepare all vegan food on the same preparation tables, using the same hands and cook using the same ovens, yet still class the food as suitable for those who choose not to eat it.
Purezza has changed this, by creating a destination where everyone can enjoy high quality Italian food, cooked by top Italian chefs, in the comfort of a completely animal free zone (and mostly gluten free too). Leaving you to eat out worry free.
Food is not only healthier (and tastier!) at Purezza, it’s also lower much in calories; pizzas are between 480 – 620 calories. Compared to a ‘typical’ pizza, from a fast food chain or supermarket, this is the equivalent of just 2 or 3 slices.
The fresh ingredients used in Purezza are hand selected each morning to ensure they are of the highest quality. Great care and responsibility is taken every day to ensure that everything from the food, to the coffee, to the packaging and recycling are as environmentally friendly as possible.
To experience Purezza, reserve a table by calling ahead.
