This is a great little place near Estacion Jimena de la Frontera in Andalucia, Southern Spain – This a cosy and beautifully decorated space with a peaceful ambience and a great atmosphere which the food matches well. The well considered decor matches the menu and the surroundings well. All the food was delicious, local and seasonally sourced from a nearby market – it was well cooked and each course, though varied matched a strong theme.with each course complimenting the previous ones.
The menu del dia was 12 euros for four courses (pics attached to this information), juice/smoothie/salad. red pepper soup, bulghur with wok vegetables and a tangy apple custard for dessert – as it was the beginning of my birthday celebrations and such a joy to find (any excuse!) we also had chocolate cake and coffee afterwards which left us all very full up and happy – i even got a birthday presents from the host.
UPDATE: We have been back quite a few times now and addicted to the moroccan pancakes with tomato pesto, absolutely delicious with a cup of coffee at breakfast
