We are the much loved and long established Cornucopia Vegetarian and Wholefood Restaurant on centrally located Dublin City Centre’s Wicklow Street.
We are an attractive and comfortable casual dining restaurant. We first opened our door in January 1986 and have been part of the fabric of Dublin since that time. We produce delicious home-cooked vegetarian and vegan friendly breakfasts, lunches, dinners, snacks, juices, breads, cakes and desserts seven days per week.
We cater for coeliac, sugar-free, vegan and raw/living menu options. We have a small and well chosen organic wine list.
At Umi Falafel, we want to share with you our passion for the freshest and most authentic falafel in Dublin. We bake our bread fresh daily and falafel are made to an old family recipe as UMI is the Arabic word for mother. We also serve Arabic mezza.
Buttercream’s Bakery is a VEGAN home-run business, set up by myself, Lauren. I’ve been baking for quite a while now, and all of my baked goods have gone down a treat at a number of events (including the Vegan Society’s Vegan Cook Off that I won!). I make a variety of different baked goods, such as cakes, cookies, cupcakes, you name it! As a vegan activist, all of my baking is 100% vegan and vegetarian-friendly. (Don’t knock it before you try it!) Not all vegan baking is bland, and we’re here to prove that! Our cakes are luscious, creamy and delicious.
I use Irish produce as much as possible, along with taking fair trade into consideration. I also don’t use ingredients owned by large scale corporations that exploit animals in any way. I try to be as ethical as possible.
I am based in Cabra, Dublin 7, and orders are generally collected from there. On occasion, I may deliver for an additional charge, depending on where the customer is based. Cash on the day of collection/delivery is the only form of payment that we accept.
In relation to the name ‘Buttercream’s Bakery’ – Buttercream is the main type of frosting that I make and use in my baking. I do, however, rarely use fondant. Any butter, or cream that is used in my baking though, is of course vegan-friendly.
Please message the Facebook page if you’re interested in any further information.
Thank you!
Lauren.

Inspired by delicious Japanese noodle bars and Japanese-inspired flavours, Wagamama launched in 1992 as an exciting and inclusive casual dining experience that continues to this day.
In Japanese, our name means ‘naughty child’, or ‘one who is wilful and determined’
A good example of that determination is the art of ‘kaizen’, meaning ‘good change’. This philosophy sits right at our heart. It shapes every dish we create, and pushes us to find better ways in all that we do. We’re restless spirits. forever creating and making things better.
We’ve been practising kaizen since 1992, when we opened our first doors in london’s bloomsbury. Inspired by fast-paced, Japanese ramen bars and a celebration of asian food, Wagamama burst into life. We set out to create a unique way of eating. Bringing the fresh, nourishing, flavours of Asia to all.
That was 20 years ago now. two whole decades to sharpen skills and refine recipes. to play with spices and discover tastes. we continue to get better with every day.
Wagamama has a separate allergens list and modifications menu, which you can look at on request. The allergens menu and the modifications menu list what is already vegan, and what can be modified (and how) to make it vegan.
