1 Review on “Buddha's Garden”
Buddha’s Garden is the only vegan and vegetarian restaurant located in San Juan Del Sur, Nicaragua, so make sure you check it out!
Their menu offers a combination of raw, and cooked foods, smoothies, ice-cream, and baked goods.
The restaurant is inside an open concept building allowing the sun to shine in, and the wind to flow through.
We arrived on an extremely hot day so I chose the raw zucchini pesto spaghetti with tomatoes and black olives. I adore pesto, so this was a special treat for me. The dish was lite, and very tasty.
Perfect for the heat.
Cody opted for the macro bowl. A loaded noodle dish topped with onions, green peppers, avocado, tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots, and served with peanut sauce. It was served warm, but also really tasty.
There is also a choice of brown rice instead of the noodles for the macro bowl.
We recommend giving Buddha’s Garden a try if you are in San Juan Del Sur. The prices are a bit more pricey ($8/dish), but you are paying for quality ingredients, some of which are imported.
The food is delicious, vibrant, and healthy.
And after all, there is only so much white rice and beans a girl can eat!
