1 Review on “Meatless District Amsterdam”
This restaurant had only been open for about 3 months by the time I visited, so I don’t want to be tooooo critical. *But* it does tout a fancy vibe and with that comes a certain expectation.
The food was good! I was happy with the burger and the French fries were quite delicious. The dessert cake was nice as well.
When the server brought the glass jug of water over she kind of set it down in a manner that seemed like she wanted to be anywhere else rather than working that evening. The bottle had soap all over the outside, which slid down and settled on the table. I told myself I could NOT taste soap in my glass of water – not sure if I did but I drank it anyway.
I really liked the clean, sleek decor and the “meatless” t-shirts that some of the servers wore.
Overall it was nice but didn’t knock my socks off. I’d go again, for sure!
