1 Review on “Loving Hut Tokyo, Japan”
Loving Hut is a chain of vegan restaurants around the world. They are owned individually, so the quality of the food has been very different in some of the places (like the one in Oslo. Eurgh.). We went to this Loving Hut on a Saturday around lunch time, which was lucky, because they have a Saturday lunch buffet that we weren’t aware of. There is so much food at this buffet!! I wish I would have realized that all of the different pots were different kinds of foods, I just assumed a bunch would be rice and/or different kinds of soups, so I loaded up my plate at the beginning of the buffet and was in trouble by the end, as I’d realized the other pots were dumplings and more main dishes. For a buffet, this place was quite cheap at around 1500 yen, and you can sit there for a full 90 minutes (70 during busy times), so it’d be a good place to go to closer to dinner and just have one big meal for the day. I had mixed opinions of the foods there, I really liked the tofu dishes and two of the dumplings, but I wasn’t quite as into the soy meat dishes. However, one of the dumplings had like this pulled soy texture and was great! Included in the price is a dessert and a cup of tea or coffee.
