1 Review on “Tenzin Dickey Tibetan Restaurant”
Tenzin Dickey (I can’t help but giggle) is a pure vegetarian Tibetan restaurant located in Leh, Ladakh, India. The food is fantastic and the portions are huge!! The veg sizzler, an amazing dish of fresh cut fries, and rice, topped with manchurian vegetable balls, smothered in veggie gravy, and a lot of vegetables and ginger is served on a sizzling cast iron platter and is big enough to feed 3 people. It is one of our all time favourite dishes in India. Incredibly flavourful! The entire menu is vegetarian, and most dishes can easily be modified to become vegan.
Do not leave without trying the veg momo soup, especially if you visit during the colder months. The loose jasmine tea is also quite nice when you have a chill.
We visited Tenzin Dickey daily because the food was delicious, and we wanted to support Tibetan refugees. It is located just down the street from Lamayuru Restaurant on Old Fort Rd.
