Small, deli-style restaurant in Munich serving vegan and vegetarian Turkish dishes, including vegan döner. Primarily a vegan/vegetarian focused restaurant, but be aware that they do serve meat.

1 Review on “Royal Veggie Döner/Royal-Kebabhaus”
I’m still a little perplexed by Royal Veggie Doner. I feel confident that the sandwich I ordered was vegan, and there is a lot of vegan verbiage on their signs, but this place definitely also serves animal products and meats. So, I think the name is a misleading (cut to my eyes glazing over in delight when I saw the beautiful case of baklava, only to realize it was not vegan as the “100% vegan” sign outside made me believe it would be).
Despite the “is this place all vegan?” crisis of self initially, the staff was super knowledgeable about what could be ordered vegan, and made helpful if not rushed suggestions on what we should try. I got a pretty classic vegan doner sandwich, and it was one of the best things I ate while we were in Germany. The flavors were great, the textures balanced, and oh man, that bread! The restaurant is small with inside and outside seating, and there are no frills. It’s definitely fast food, but it is extremely tasty fast food!
