I’d like to go back and try out Cosmic Treats for their lunch, dinner, or brunch offerings, but our quick visit while strolling through Kensington Market was all about the sugar. We ended up trying a thick brownie with even thicker frosting and topped with a chocolate sandwich cookie. I thought the name mentioned caramel, but didn’t get a lot of that flavor in the treat. Regardless, it was delicious, and I’m grateful this one treat was split among many because it was dense and sugary (as any respectable frosting-topped brownie should be). I also got to try their homemade birthday cake ice cream, which was also tasty.
Conveniently located in Kensington Market, Cosmic Treats is a lovely find for all your vegan sweet tooth needs. After being full from lunch across the street, our group opted to share a salted caramel brownie bite with pieces of a fudge cookie on top. The treat was very delicious and just enough to keep us satisfied while trying other food from around town.
They had a lot of cakes, donuts, bars and other sweets here that I didn’t get a chance to try. I wasn’t aware of it at the time because we stopped by pretty quickly, but Cosmic Treats does also have brunch, lunch and dinner menus if you’re looking for more of a meal. I do regret not trying the matcha ice cream they had here, but that just means I’ll have to stop by in the future to try some of their other offerings!
