Gopal's Vegetarian Restaurant

Established in 1980, Gopal’s is currently the oldest vegetarian restaurant in Melbourne. Started by renowned internationally vegetarian master chef extraordinaire Kurma Das, it has been owned and operated by the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON), or commonly known as The Hare Krishna’s, for the past 31 years.

Food at Gopal’s changes weekly, and patrons order their food “cafeteria style,” selecting from a line of of items to add to their plates.
