I haven’t been on this site for three years. I was just in Chiang Mai, Thailand and saw a sticker for VeganTravel.com on the street and thought I should log in. My youtube video for the trip has plenty of vegan restaurants and lots of local cats. Look me up. DreadJohn.

Shaedyn! If you aren’t already in them, there are more than a few Facebook groups with Taiwanese vegans, many of them westerners. There seem to be meet-ups and events all the time. I was there in 2015 and I know there’s been several places open up since then.

Hanchi! thanks for the message. I’m very excited about my trip. I’ll only be in Taiwan for two weeks, but I’ll be visiting Taipei obviously, but also Yingge, Taichuang, and Sun Moon Lake. Most of the time however, will be in the city of Miaoli at a Zen/tea center studying and meditating. I’ll stay in touch.
