Shae and I spent yesterday at the Italian Horse Protection Onlus in Tuscany.

This is a wonderful organization that rescues abused and mistreated horses from equestrian competitions, illegal racing, riding schools, tourist carriages, circuses, and even slaughter for horse meat. They support and promote action to better the lives of these beautiful animals. They help rehabilitate them physically and mentally and allow them to run wild and free on 16 acres.

Feeling inspired and so grateful to get a chance to work with such a beautiful organization. Highly encourage anyone visiting Italy to come volunteer!
