While being in New York City on November 1, 2015; I had a chance to dine at the Candle Cafe West Vegan Restaurant (located upper West side at Broadway and 89th Street. As walking in the restaurant, my first impression was that it had a lovely and warm atmosphere as I was being seated at my table. From the menu, I had so many choices, but decided on a linguine pasta with carrots, peas, zucchini string slices, in a warm truffle garlic oil sauce with a cashew type parmigiana seasoning to place on top – WOW – this dish was so amazing to the very last drop. For desert – (again so many choices to go with), I had a ginger type ice cream on a pear
tartlet. So yummy and tasty – WOW is all I can say. I had a great time, great food and had fun with my family too that I had gone with to the restaurant! (that is what it is all about!).
