torn between places to stay in Bogota… either an okay place closer to downtown and looks like lots of restaurant/food options close by… or an eco/sustainable hotel a little further away and double the price, but looks fabulous…. leaning towards the eco hotel, but don’t want to spend all day going back and forth across the city…

How long are you in Bogota for? Is it reasonable to split your time so you get some of the benefits/experiences of both? I know it’s nice to just settle in wherever you’re staying for the duration of a trip, but maybe even one night at the eco hotel would be a nice treat for yourself 🙂
I was thinking of doing that… I’m only there for 3 nights, and arrive super late the first night… maybe I do all the “touristy” stuff the first day and a half and then enjoy the eco hotel on the last night? so many choices!
