Ridge to Reef – Living In Harmony: An Eco-Voluntour
it takes 20 years for a Pawikan mother to return to its birthplace to lay its eggs, but industrialization and the boom in tourism makes it harder for them to return to its birthplace, because of strong lights at night and lots of people watching them as they lay their eggs
we were taught how to take care of sea turtles, from guarding the beaches where they would lay their eggs. how they lay their eggs and how to take care of their eggs in the hatchery, we were also taught how living in a sustainable place can sustain people living in a community, then we fed and gave gifts to some underpriveleged children
and best of all the food which are all plant based
Thank you sir Toby Tamayo and the rest of the staff and members of SIFCare, for teaching us, showing us and guiding us on how we should protect our environment. Would love to go back and do this againNo Records Found
