2 Reviews on “The Imperative”
I only bought a sticker at the Imperative because of limited suitcase room, but I was really happy to have had the chance to pay this place a visit. The store is beautifully decorated with messages about veganism, and they carry a lot of merch and other items dedicated to the cause. Things did seem a little more expensive here (including clothing) but I am under the impression that this store is showcased as a more upscale option for clothing and shoes.
At The Imperative, they sell everything from t-shirts to books, cosmetics, dog treats, and other various items. I love a place like this that makes it easy when I’m buying things like makeup or shoes so I don’t have to look into the ingredients/process used. I wouldn’t shop here regularly if I was a local, but it is a neat place to check out when you’re visiting from out of town.
The Imperative doesn’t carry the types of items I’d typically buy, but it is so cool seeing a higher-end specialty vegan lifestyle store that is as busy as this place was on a Saturday afternoon. Things are definitely a little pricier here, but I think the quality of the items matches the price tag for the most part. They have a ton of great vegan messaging all over the store and on a lot of the wearables, and there’s even a photobooth at the front of the store in front of their “All Vegan Everything” sign that you can have texted or emailed to you. This was a fun place to explore while we were in town.
