1 Review on “Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa”
The Sheraton Maui is on one of the nicest stretches of beach in Kaanapali – next to Black Rock, which has some of the best snorkeling & diving in Kaanapali. There is also one of the nicest beach walking and jogging trails going several kilometers in each direction.
None of Sheraton restaurants have any vegan options on their menus, but their breakfast buffet is accidentally vegan with lots of fresh fruits, tortillas, avocados, beans, rice, salad. But at $20 per person for breakfast, there are better vegan-friendly options nearby that make a lot more sense – for example the all vegetarian Farmers Market is a quick drive, or a 30-minute walk along the beach, and they have yummy smoothies, bagels, vegan cakes & cookies, and an assortment of ready made vegan meals. They also have loads of vegan grocery items and fresh produce.
A tip for people not staying at the Sheraton – all beaches in Hawaii are free & open to the public so you can go to any of them. And there is free parking at nearby Whalers Village (if you buy anything in any of their stores or restaurants & get your parking ticket stamped). A couple of those restaurants have vegan options, and from Whalers it is only a 5-minute walk to the beach at Black Rock.
