Awash Falls Park is located in the southeastern limits of Awash National Park in Ethiopia, around 205km outside of Addis Ababa. Visitors to the park can stay on the grounds at the lodge, which oversees the waterfalls, river and gorges of this conservation park. Tours and treks, as well as leisure activities like the natural hot springs are some activities that guests of the lodge can enjoy. AFL is situated by Awash River Falls in the Acacia Woodlands and Riverine vegetation of Awash National Park, Upper Great Rift Valley. It is located about 215 km east of the capital Addis Ababa, on the way to Addis-Harer main road. It takes about 3.5-4 hours drive to reach the Lodge.
