La Kukula Lodge is in Puerto Viejo de Talamanca, in Playa Chiquita beach area, next to the best beaches in Costa Rica’s South Caribbean Coast and to Gandoca-Manzanillo Wildlife Park and Jaguar Wildlife Rescue Center. Our lodge was designed following sustainable arquitecture principles to allow our guests to enjoy the natural environment and its biodiversity. At La Kukula Lodge you can eat breakfast while listening to the sounds of the jungle; observe the feasting kukulas (commonly known as sloths…) and the curious iguanas; take a dip in the pool as toucans fly overhead; or simply read a good book, immersed by the jungle. In this little part of the jungle no two days are the same, and with a paradise on your doorstep you don’t have to travel far to appreciate all the flora and fauna that surrounds you.
